We are Venetian Gondoliers, proud to offer you our service and our gondola, a true reflection of Venetian values.
As children, some of us, dreamt of becoming gondoliers, others, have been rowing from when we could walk, absorbing
the pearls of wisdom handed down by our fathers, from generation to generation.
It is tradition,amongst gondoliers, to give "nicknames"to one another, these "niknames" reflect certain traits in our personality.
We have shown our solidarity for Venice against "Moto ondoso"- damage caused by waves, through various protests and debates.
We hope that by drawing attention to this concern, that the citizens of the world and also the Venetians, feel our pain.
As we note the decay of the foundations of the historic Venetian Palaces.
Our gondolas glide gracefully, never touching the buildings and effortlessly avoiding the moored boats.
We hold in high regard, the first rule in our Gondolier Code of Conduct -"Always maintain an elegant demeanor whilst rowing"
